Arthur Atkinson Hardwood Cooking Kindling is available in Ash and Oak, both are very dense and once fire is established will give a long burn time and subtle flavours.

Our cooking kindling measures 15cm in length so is suitable for small pizza ovens ,offset smokers, vertical smokers and even The Big Green Egg.

STORAGE OF ARTHUR ATKINSON KILN DRIED COOKING WOOD

Arthur Atkinson firewood products need to be kept dry and out of the elements. Failure to store the product correctly will impact the products performance.

Although our packaging in breathable we do not recommend that kiln dried logs are stored in them.

The firewood needs to be stacked into your log store, shed or garage. It’s important that wherever you choose to stack your firewood there is adequate airflow.

SAFETY

 Safety when using any wood fired appliance is paramount.

• Carbon Monoxide has no odour, never burn in vehicles or tents and ensure there is adequate ventilation.
• Wherever possible use fireproof gauntlets/gloves when tending to your outdoor cooking appliance
• Ensure children and animals are supervised when the fire is lit.
• If in doubt on the safety of your appliance please refer to your manufacturers guidance.
