All our smokeless fuel briquettes are suitable for use on traditional open fires, multi-fuel stoves & closed appliances.
Traditional Open Fires
Using smokeless fuel briquettes on a traditional open fire will allow for a cleaner burn as opposed to using housecoal. All our briquettes offer a high heat output and low/medium ash content.
Multi-Fuel Stoves
If your appliance is any of the following leading manufacturers such as: Morso, Aga,Stovax or Esse we always recommend referring to the manufacturers warranty for guidance on which product to use, generally all certified ‘Ready to Burn’ manufactured briquettes are suitable in multi-fuel stoves.
TIPS FOR LIGHTING YOUR FIRE
Place Arthur Atkinson firelighters and kindling on the fire bed along with a small quantity of your chosen fuel. Carefully ignite.
Once the fire is established add more fuel and adjust the draft regulator to your chosen burn rate.
STORAGE OF ARTHUR ATKINSON SMOKELESS FUEL BRIQUETTES
Arthur Atkinson smokeless fuel briquettes need to be kept dry and out of the elements. Failure to store the product correctly will impact the products performance.
